Confusion »

If a team doesn’t have sufficient experience with a chosen formation it can experience Confusion during a match. However if your players’ individual experience (with a bonus from the team captain) is high the risk of confusion will lessen.

Confusion means that all lines drop in rating. A rule of thumb is that the midfield rating goes down with about 4% for each level your team organization drops.

The lower your formation experience (and team experience) is the higher the risk of confusion becomes. In addition the formation experience also plays a part in how confused your players get when your team is confused. The lower formation experience you have the more confused your players will become.

Confusion can happen even though you have a solid formation experience but it doesn’t happen very often. Your formation experience will have to be at least excellent to avoid confusion.

Following table approximately shows how the organisational level means for the rating:
    excellent = 99%-100%
  • solid = 95%-98%
  • passable = 89%-94%
  • inadequate = 83%-88%
  • weak = 76%-82%
  • poor = 66%-75%
  • wretched = x-65%

If your players are confused at halftime (or before extended time) your coach can improve this with some extra briefing.
